Note: If you have purchased a used camera, you should verify the previous owner has removed the camera from their Scoutek account via the Equipment Center. If they have not, you will be unable to register the camera under your account.
Render 4G: Power the camera to Setup. Press the menu button and ensure the Wireless Network option is turned ON, then select the Camera Info option.
If the registration code is not displayed, simply back out of the menu for 30 seconds, then reopen the Camera Info screen. If the registration code is still not displayed, you may need to power cycle the camera and try again. If after these steps the registration code is still not shown, reach out to Scoutek support, with your camera’s IMEI and ICCID, for assistance.
Assuming all of the Camera Info is being displayed, launch your Scoutek app, and select Register New Camera. Select the Exodus Render 4G model, then click Scan Registration Info. Using your phone's camera, scan the Render’s LCD screen to automatically copy those values into the registration fields. If this does not work, these values can be manually entered. Give the camera a name and click Register Camera.
If you are registering multiple cameras, be sure to register all prior to completing the activation process.
